Hi! I’m Jill and I’m so glad you found us! I’m a trauma-informed, strengths-focused therapist who empowers client voices and experiences by working together as a team to meet their goals.
I have four plus years working in mental health and over a decade working in legal and non-profit organizations across the U.S. and Central America. These experiences have shown me the worth, dignity and strength that all individuals possess and developed a strong sense of care, understanding, justice and empathy, which I bring into our client sessions.
I specialize in assisting individuals who experienced trauma, those who experience workplace stressors, especially individuals on the frontlines of serving others including first responders and individuals who work in social service sectors. I also specialize in providing services to people who identify as neurodivergent.
My intention is to create a safe space where we can speak freely about whatever comes to your heart. I invite you to come as you are and value authenticity as we build a therapeutic relationship. I welcome and support people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and identities.
I like to use an eclectic approach in counseling by incorporating various interventions. A few approaches I often incorporate include solution-focused brief therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and attachment theory. These approaches help us to develop insight about yourself in sessions as we begin to make connections between your mind, body, and spirit, and how it all connects with the stressors in your environment, while working towards your goals.
If you are interested in services, we will set up a 15 – 30 minute phone call to see if we have a good therapeutic fit. I welcome your questions and concerns at that time.
The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.

My Background
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas (License number: 106288). I graduated with my Master of Science in Social Work from the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin in 2021. Since then, I worked in a community organization providing therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds to address issues of trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and other stressors.
Prior to social work, I worked in the legal and civic sector for over a decade. While I’m originally from the Midwest, I lived abroad in Guatemala working with two community-based non-profits and moved to the South eight years ago and have not left since! When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and doggos, being active and outdoors (preferably in the sun), playing D&D, reading, cooking, and getting into DIY projects.
The best way to take care of the future is by taking care of the present moment.
