I'm Bianca, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving teens and young adults in Texas (#203681). As a relational therapist, my philosophy is based on the belief that the quality of our relationships directly impacts the quality of our lives. In my work with clients I take into consideration how the systems you’re a part of—family, community, and culture—have shaped your worldview. Together we can determine the ways in which your worldview is helping or hindering the growth you are seeking.
Clients
I specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions, manage anxiety, and cultivate self-compassion. Whether you’re healing from trauma, experiencing difficulties with dating, or simply seeking personal growth, I’ll provide a supportive environment to explore how your past experiences have shaped your sense of self and your relationships.
I enjoy working with those who identify as neurodivergent. I approach neurodivergence not as something to be “cured” but as a set of traits to be understood and harnessed for growth. My goal is to help clients uncover their strengths and adapt to thrive. Similarly, I value working with marginalized communities, recognizing the challenges of navigating a world built on narrow definitions of “normal”.
Approach
My therapeutic approach incorporates narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and attachment theory, allowing us to explore your story, take action toward desired outcomes, and strengthen your connections with others.
In my work with teens and their parents, I utilize Collaborative & Proactive Solutions, an evidence-based, trauma-informed model of therapy that helps caregivers address the root causes of adolescent behavioral difficulties.
Background
I hold a masters degree in counseling from St. Edward’s University and have been working as a therapist in Austin for 5 years.
